Iphone released the HDR photo option as the iOS 4.1 update. So far I have had mixed feelings about the results. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range, the way it works is it takes a handful of the same photos but at different exposure levels. It then takes all the photos and combines them to give the photo a even level of exposure. Some photos turn out really nice, but other times the layering of the photos gives it a "ghosting" effect were the photos don't properly line up.
